Frequently Asked Questions

  • Shipping large, handcrafted pieces requires care—and we take a thoughtful approach to ensure each item arrives safely and in excellent condition.

For clients located in the Tri-State area (New Jersey, New York, Connecticut) and Pennsylvania, we offer local delivery whenever possible. This allows us to personally handle your piece and ensure it arrives exactly as intended.

For deliveries outside of this region, we coordinate shipping through trusted freight carriers. Each shipment is carefully planned based on the size of the piece and your location, and we’re happy to provide a detailed quote once we have a sense of your order and delivery zip code.

Every piece is securely packaged to protect it in transit. Larger items are typically crated and shipped via freight, with delivery scheduled in advance. Freight deliveries are made using a lift gate and placed in a safe, accessible location such as a driveway, garage, or building entrance.

Some light uncrating or assembly may be required upon delivery. We provide the necessary hardware and clear instructions to make the process as simple as possible.

While we’d love to personally deliver every piece, distance doesn’t always make that possible—so we work with reliable shipping partners to ensure your order arrives safely and efficiently. Have questions about shipping or delivery? Reach out—we’re happy to walk you through the process.

  • Walnut

Prized for its rich, dark brown tones and complex grain, Walnut is the premier choice for modern, high-end furniture. This North American hardwood, is unique because it tends to lighten slightly over time into a warm honey-patina. While it is durable, it thrives best in environments with stable humidity and should be cleaned with a simple microfiber cloth rather than harsh chemicals. It is the perfect selection for statement pieces where a natural, chocolate-toned elegance is the goal.

    White Oak

White Oak is a dense, incredibly hard wood from the Eastern United States known for its neutral tan color and striking linear grain. Because it is so stable, it maintains its light, modern aesthetic for decades with minimal color shifting. To keep it looking its best, simply use coasters to prevent moisture rings and dust regularly.

    Cherry

Cherry is a smooth, satiny hardwood from Pennsylvania and the Northeast that is famous for its dramatic aging process. While it begins as a pale pinkish-tan, it darkens significantly into a deep, glowing reddish-brown within the first year of light exposure. It is a "living" wood that requires owners to rotate decor during the first few months to ensure the rich patina develops evenly across the surface. This classic American wood is ideal for those who want a piece of furniture that grows more beautiful and character-filled over time.

    Sapele

Sapele is a massive, durable hardwood native to Tropical Africa that serves as a harder, more sustainable alternative to traditional Mahogany. It is easily recognized by its "ribbon-stripe" grain, which creates a shimmering light-and-dark effect across large surfaces like tabletops. This wood is naturally resistant to warping and maintains a deep, exotic reddish-brown luster that adds an immediate sense of luxury to a room. Maintenance is straightforward, requiring only a damp cloth and a mild soap to clean when necessary.
